Employers

  • Once you have registered for the event in Handshake, vFairs will send an invitation to the contact person listed in the event registration form. The email will provide instructions on how to set up your employer booth in vFairs.
  • If you would like any additional representatives from your organization to be able to access the event, please add them as a “booth rep” in the booth reps section of the booth setup form.
  • Assign one representative to staff your assigned industry roundtable, which will take place during the first 1.5 hours of the event (i.e. 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM or 6:00-7:30 PM Pacific Time).
  • Roundtables will require the use of video, so please ensure your device’s video/webcam is working properly.
  • Be prepared to briefly introduce yourself and your organization to each group of 20 students. During the Q&A you may be asked both general questions about your industry as well as specific questions related to your organization and open positions.
  • At least two representatives are recommended to efficiently field 1:1 student questions in your virtual booth. A good rule of thumb is to bring as many representatives as you would normally for an in-person career fair.
  • Fill out your booth completely with relevant links, graphics, video content, and open jobs.
  • Between September 10-23, browse the resumes of registered students in vFairs to invite qualified candidates for 1:1 chats during the event (this would only be for the 2nd half of the time block, i.e. 12:30-2:00 PM or 7:30-9:00 PM Pacific Time).
